I did not have much fun with my first experience making slippers but some how the girls at work to talk me into making sneaker slippers for my sister for Christmas. My sister has a HUGE shoe obsession so it does make sense and I had no clue what I was going to get her this year. BUT my previous attempt kept flashing through my mind and I was really doubting being able to make this work.
Before I fully committed to this idea I needed to do research. I knew my sister would prefer more of a high top style sneaker so I needed to see if I could find a better pattern. This turned out to be a challenge, reading through most of the free patterns they were just not what I was looking for and most did not seem to make sense. I then looked at patterns you needed to pay for and theydid not seem much better, most of them had bad reviews saying pattern did not work without modifications. All I could think is oh great here we go again.
After more research I did find a pattern I decided to go with and bite the bullet and see where it went. Again I did have to make some changes to the pattern, so for this reason again I will not post the pattern. This pattern was a lot easier to work with and after modification here is what I made...........................
