Just when I thought I had made every type of sheep I could I got another order and of course it is a different design again. This time they want the sheep to be a small big bubble, yes you read that right a small big bubble. They want a small Sheep but want it to be a big bubble. So it is time to re work the pattern again.
I have to admit this sheep was a little intimidating, the first reason being the customer has a very specific idea in mind. This can become challenging especially with a pattern like the sheep because it is not easy to just add and remove stitches to get the exact size they want. I can get close but an exact match is hard. The second reason being because of how they want the sheep shaped I am going to have to drastically change the pattern. I knew in theory what I need to do but I had to hope the theory worked in reality the way it worked in my head.
I knew this was going to take some concentration so I decided to take this project on the road with me. Nothing like a hotel with no distractions when you need to concentrate, it was the perfect setting to just concentrate on what I needed to accomplish. So I packed up everything I would need to make this sheep and off I went on my work trip.
This was made for one of my co workers who will be using this as a cat toy to see how her cats will react to the Small Bubble Sheep living on the couch. I always love to hear how my creations will be used or what purpose they will serve.
